To encourage interaction between the local and regional art communities, as well as supporting local artists to reach out internationally, State-of-the-Arts Foundation will support the Federation of Asian Artists Hong Kong Committee (FAAHKC) to participate in the 26th Asian International Art Exhibition held in Korea. The exhibition will showcase works of 20 reputed local artists.

State-of-the-Arts Foundation will then bring this exhibition to Hong Kong, showing the Hong Kong community the unique works created by the FAAHKC. Based on the theme 'Glocalization of Asian Culture', the artists created work that conveys their reflection of globalization and the effect it has on our unique cultural heritage.

The FAAHKC was established in 1996 and has participated in the Asian International Art Exhibition in various venues in Asia on a yearly basis since then. The AIAE aims to bring together the contemporary art from numerous countries in Asia, maintaining constant dialogue and interaction between the art communities in those countries.
